Hello, my name is Daniel Shippey, and this is my welcoming post. Firstly, I have created this blog, so I can document and present my work and research for my AS media coursework. This includes my preliminary task, all the way up to my main task, and the finished and final media product. This means you will have access to each individual task throughout the project, where it will be carefully explained; including the ideas and thoughts that went into it. And any issues that occurred during the task, and how it was dealt with. The task that has been set for our media group this year, is to create an opening sequence to a thriller. This entails the three main stages of production: (pre-production) planning, (production) the actual filming, and (post-production) the editing. I am working alongside the two media students, Elizabeth McLaughlin, and Iain Guy, during this media/film project. Together, we have formed an independent production company, known as Eden Pictures.
